Pâtisserie Coralie is truly one of Evanston’s hidden gems! From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed by the charming Parisian atmosphere, the incredible aroma of fresh pastries, and the friendliest staff. Every dessert is beautifully made and tastes just as amazing as it looks. The croissants are flaky and buttery, the macarons are delicious, and everything is prepared with such care and attention to detail. Whether you’re stopping in for coffee, breakfast, or a sweet treat, this place never disappoints. It’s the perfect spot to relax, catch up with friends, or simply treat yourself. If you’re looking for authentic French pastries and exceptional service, I highly recommend Pâtisserie Coralie. I’ll definitely be back again and again!

I've been here a number of times and every sandwich, pastry, croissant, quiche, and drink I've had has been good. This place is owned by a French person, which is a plus. The music is really interesting and usually in French. It seems like a local hangout, and has a neighborhood vibe. The only negative is that it isn't very clean. The floor and tables don't seem to be wiped down (crumbs, hair, coffee stains), and the fabric seats seem worn and dirty. It's the only place I've been to that smells unclean and musty. So it's not the kind of place that I would spend much time in.

I’ve given this place two chances, and both were disappointing. The first time, I ordered a hot matcha latte to go, only to find out later it was a yellow ginger drink—completely wrong. This morning, I waited while the barista ignored me to have a conversation (around 5 minutes) with a friend customer. Because I later need to catch the bus so I left. She only realized there are actually customers when I started to walk out. Also, the "Tip Karma" sign about dinosaurs is a bit much when the service is this poor. I won't be back lol Update:Yes I can see your confidence of the humor and interesting that I’m the only reviewer who didn’t get a 'Dear' in your response, I know your team member is really pissed off by my comment and I guess since you're 'not a fast food establishment,' you don't have time for basic courtesy or getting a simple matcha order right either. Seeing it is empty inside and using a this jar to guilt-trip customers while providing zero hospitality is the real joke here hahahahah if you're going to be slow, at least be accurate and maybe a bit more consistent with your 'politeness' to all customers. and LETS MAKE IT CLEAR I’ve been a regular here since Sep 2024, I d

The 1 hour and 15 minute drive to Evanston to have tea with my hija-amiga was absolutely worth it. Patisserie Corali is a tiny, very popular, and very crowded little gem that serves a beautifully simple high tea in a warm, quaint, country-French setting that instantly puts you at ease. We had a dedicated server who was kind, friendly, and young — and her slight lack of experience only added to the charm. It felt human, unpolished in the best way, and refreshingly sincere. The classic three-tier stand delivered a joyful tasting journey: savory finger sandwiches, lovely cakes and sweets (including their excellent macarons and madeleines), plus warm buttery scones and tasty mini quiches served separately. It was a cornucopia of small delights; generous, comforting, and clearly made with care. The tea selection is also wonderful and thoughtfully curated. What truly stood out, though, was the lack of pomposity. No stiffness, no theatrics, just good food, good tea, and a feeling that you’ve been welcomed into someone’s home. Easily one of the best high tea experiences in the Chicago area. Lovely, cozy, and full of heart.

We had a wonderful experience today with the tea service. I have been awaiting the ability to enjoy their tea service in the shop as it used to only be for pickup. The price is very reasonable and the quality of the offerings is very high. They provided quite a bit of food and the staff were kind, attentive and helpful despite a busy Sunday in the cafe. It was easy to book and pay via email correspondence. Highly recommended!
